Crazy Granny Designs

Crazy Granny Designs is a Finland-based small business run by a Finnish-English family, well mostly by me, Niina. I am a graphic designer by profession and have been creating things all my life. Having my own brand has been a life-long dream.

Crazy Granny Designs came about in autumn 2019. I started to design the kind of earrings that I love to wear. Big, bold and colourful, a bit bonkers at times, just like me.

I have to make one thing clear: I am not a granny yet (although my oldest son is the same age now that I was when I had him, yikes!) The name is about your inner granny, girl power taken to the next level. It is a state of mind.

All of our products are designed by me here in Joensuu, Finland. The plywood jewellery is printed on sustainably sourced Finnish birch plywood (PEFC & FSC certified) and laser cut in Helsinki. The metal parts are stainless steel. The jewellery is assembled in Joensuu.
