INSTRUCTIONS

1. Quick cleaning:

The clothes brush can be used whenever necessary for quick cleaning while the garment is on. Gently pull the garment by the hem lengthwise when you brush so that the brush glides better on the surface of the garment.

Suit jackets are easy to clean even when hung up. You can enhance the cleaning effect of brushing by misting the garment with water with a spray bottle before brushing. Dark clothes especially benefit from a water spray!

2. Thorough brushing:

Spread the garment on a flat surface during brushing. A sticky pillow is the best platform for brushing knitwear, because the platform that gives a little stretch helps to keep the stretchy knit in place. Large clothes and textiles are easiest to brush on the ironing board.

Hold the garment in place with one hand while brushing and brush with the other hand in the direction of the material - usually from top to bottom.

If the surface of the garment is really shabby, brushing should be done in two directions. Always switch the supporting hand to the side where the brushing starts. If you brush from top to bottom, hold your hand at the top of the garment – if from bottom to top, support the hem.

In particular, fluffy knits such as cashmere, mohair and alpaca benefit from brushing in two directions.
