By observing the nature around me, I embark on great adventures and experience the contrasts I need in creating art. An emotional experience is often the starting point for my paintings, especially, and I also draw inspiration from life around me and the stories I hear in the old barn. Thinking, reading, and writing are dear hobbies of mine; they transport me to landscapes not constrained by everyday chores. One does not necessarily need to look far for life; there is plenty to wonder at if one becomes sensitive enough to notice. I also want to believe that beauty and goodness are such bosom friends that if you succeed in following either one, you get to enjoy the presence of both.
