Description
The jacquard-woven Sävellys scarf is made of a wool blend. The scarf features two large Vihkiruusu pattern flowers, one at each end, and the Vihkiruusu text in the middle of the scarf.
The product contains 80% recycled wool.
Vihkiruusu was born at a time when flowers were not really part of Marimekko’s pattern world. However, Maija Isola was interested in floral themes and decided to design an entire series of new, strong floral patterns. Along with Vihkiruusu, that series also included Unikko.
