Blueberry Patch necklace - large
Description
The rosy-cheeked bilberry is a favorite berry for many. The bilberry is a true health bomb with its numerous health benefits, as it contains a wealth of vitamins, fiber, and minerals. In folk medicine, the bilberry was once used for many ailments and was highly valued. According to old Nordic beliefs, the Virgin Mary sowed the forests full of bilberries so that the earth would bear fruit for people to eat. The Nordic bilberry is healthier than its cousin, the highbush blueberry, considerably smaller, and dark purple on the inside. You cannot eat bilberries in secret; they temporarily stain your tongue, lips, and fingers. As a child, the bilberries gathered into a small bucket ended up in mother’s pie, and the largest blue delicacies, of course, straight into the mouth in the forest. Can you already taste them?
The Bilberry Patch collection consists of deep blue bilberries, their light green leaves, and water droplets condensed on the berries. It was inspired by early morning forest hikes and berry clusters dampened by morning dew. The jewelry comes with an elegant jewelry box, and the story above can also be found on the inside lid of the jewelry box.
