Description
The long-sleeved Lipua shirt has a slim fit and the Pallo pattern. The round neckline and cuffs are finished with ribbed trim. A Marimekko brand label is sewn onto the back neckline.
Annika Rimala's Pallo pattern was launched in 1970 in a rather unusual way. The products were not ready in time for the fashion show, so instead of models presenting the clothes, the designer herself took to the runway, held up a ten-penny coin of the time, and asked the audience to imagine white polka dots of that size on blue, brown, and red backgrounds.
