Description
The cloudberry is the most sought-after treasure of our northern marshes; it is one of the most valuable wild berries in Finland and is often called "the gold of the marsh." The significance of the cloudberry to Finns is evident in the fact that the berry has numerous local names, and its image even adorns the Finnish 2-euro coin. The orange cloudberry is an aromatic and very healthy, vitamin C-rich delicacy that doesn't grow just anywhere—cloudberry marshes are often difficult to navigate and far from civilization. Persistence, however, is rewarded: you may stumble upon shimmering golden patches of cloudberries that stretch as far as the eye can see, and "cloudberry fever" can completely sweep you away! Many have dreamed of marshes glowing in yellow and orange. In the nightless night, as the cool mist descends and the marsh tea blooms, those dreams come true. The Cloudberry collection consists of luscious cloudberries, their dark green leaves, and water droplets condensed on the berries. It is inspired by early morning trips to the marsh and berry clusters dampened by morning dew.
The jewelry comes with an elegant jewelry box, and the story above can also be found on the inside lid of the box.
