Nuppu Print Company

Nupu has three principles that we follow in all design: we only make flowers, only Fairy Tales and only everything lovely. Nupu's designer Satu draws all of Nupu's patterns, which appear 2-4 times a year, depending on the collection. Each collection includes both fabrics and paper and home products. Pohjola's...

Nuppu Print Company

How did it all start?

The knob is actually one huge moment of happiness. The button came true when Satu and Jenni opened their mouths at the right moment. In March 2016, at the publishers of the book illustrated by Satu, Jenni asked Sadu why Satu doesn't make fabrics from her illustrations - Jenni was busy sewing dresses. Satu, on the other hand, said that he always dreamed of having his own collection of paper products. Satu's throw "You could look into it if you have some time" turned out to be fatal. At that moment, the dream began to come true, and the next morning, Jenni sent Sadu a message and told her that she had found possible places for fabric printing. It didn't take long for the company to be established. The following autumn, Nupu's first collection Sydäntalvi saw the light of day.

Now we are already a long way from realizing the dream, and Nuppu has opened up in every direction. The fabrics are popular among seamstresses both in Finland and abroad, the paper products have dealers all over Finland. Through various collaboration projects, Nupu's patterns can be seen in other brands' products, such as Havi's napkins and Lumoan's clothes.
