RIIMI – Love, brown, alpaca

The RIIMI cardigan is wonderfully soft and suitable for year-round wear. This alpaca knit suits many, regardless of age or gender. It is a lovely and safe garment to wear; it is beautiful, soft, and evocative. This cardigan has a relaxed, loose fit, with a slightly cropped hem that is clearly shorter than the popular Runo cardigan. It features ribbed cuffs and hem, and a button-front closure. 

This stunning alpaca knit will keep you warm during the chillier moments of your life. Thanks to the structure of the fiber, it insulates heat very well while also being highly breathable and feeling dry against the skin. An alpaca knit is also an excellent choice for sensitive skin.

Alpaca also effectively repels dirt, so the need for washing is very minimal. The best way to care for your knit is by airing it out regularly and brushing the surface.

This alpaca blend knit is designed and made with love in Finland. The Love pattern was designed by Maija Louekari.

The yarns for the knit are spun and dyed in Italy. The dyehouse/spinning mill uses 50% of its own solar energy, which has reduced carbon dioxide emissions. The baby alpaca and merino wool come from farms monitored by umbrella organizations and are RAS (Responsible Alpaca Standard) and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified..
