Less than 1% of the world's wool production is as responsible as the organic merino wool we use.

We use GOTS certified organic merino wool in our beanies. In socks, we use both Nativa-certified merino wool and traditional merino wool. All our wool qualities are produced responsibly and transparently. Our merino wool is mulesing-free and the well-being of the merino sheep is taken into account in the cultivation.

Merino wool is an excellent choice for both cold and warm weather. The air pockets of the merino wool fiber insulate the wearer from the prevailing weather conditions and temperature. Because of this, merino wool perfectly keeps the cold, but also cools down when needed.

Merino wool warms even when wet. It transfers and evaporates moisture efficiently, keeping the skin dry and warm. We use a fine merino wool quality that is soft, light and non-itchy.

The production itself is Bluesign certified, so the wool does not contain harmful chemicals. You can compost the beanie when it reaches the end of its life cycle: we do not use superwash treatments that weaken the good properties of wool.
