Biitti Unikko Placement Kioski jersey t-shirt

The long-sleeved Biitti shirt has a unisex fit. The Unikko flower is printed on the left chest, and the shirt features ribbed trim at the round neckline.

The product is made of cotton jersey containing 70% organic cotton and at least 30% recycled fibers. The recycled fibers originate from a closed-loop system that utilizes waste materials generated in Marimekko’s production as a raw material for new Marimekko products.

The product is printed using a natural, bio-based color pigment.

Symbolizing creativity and courage, Unikko was born at a time when Marimekko’s pattern repertoire did not include many flowers. Maija Isola was interested in the floral motif, however, and decided to design an entire series of bold, novel floral patterns.
