Description
Hand-enameled in Finland, the Heart tea strainer is beautiful, durable, and convenient to use. An absolute favorite for many tea lovers!
Brewing good tea doesn't require much; just fresh water, quality tea, and a proper tea strainer.
Instructions:
Place the Heart tea strainer with its rim over your teapot or mug. Add loose-leaf tea to the strainer and pour hot water over the leaves. After the brewing time, lift the strainer by its rim and place it to dry over another cup or small bowl with the tea leaves still inside; once dry, the tea leaves are easy to tap into a compost bin.
Why do so many consider our tea strainer the best?
- The mouth of the strainer is wide, making it easy to add tea leaves.
- The mesh of the strainer is very fine, so even the smallest tea leaves cannot pass through and make the tea bitter.
- The strainer is spacious enough for the tea leaves to expand and the flavor to distribute evenly, whether you are brewing a single cup or a whole pot.
- The strainer's rim makes it easy to lift off the mug or pot without burning your fingers.
- The bottom of the rim has a natural cork surface that insulates against heat: the strainer's rim does not get hot, and the tea water does not cool down. The rim is also pleasant to place on a mug or pot as it does not clatter.
- But above all, our tea strainer is beautiful.
- After all, visual appeal is part of the tea experience! The rim of the tea strainer is enameled as an individual piece of craftsmanship at our own studio in Kenkävero, Mikkeli, and every tea strainer is unique, even though they are made according to the same design.
Our tea strainer was designed by Pauliina Rundgren - a passionate tea lover - so every detail essential to making your tea moment even more enjoyable has been considered.
