Lint comb

The Arkivé Atelier lint comb can be used to remove lint from woolen knits and woolen fabrics. The lint comb is especially suitable for the maintenance of fine merino and cashmere knitwear and smooth woolen fabrics. For coarser and fluffier knits, for example lambswool and mohair blends, a lint stone is usually the most effective tool.

Do this: Move the comb on the surface of the material in the direction of the material or loops. Care of knitwear is made easier when the garment is spread over a pillow. The soft base keeps the sweater in place better and also reduces the pressure on the sweater. Combing starts with gentle pressure and the pressure is gradually increased until the fluff starts to come off. Brushing too gently is not enough to remove lint. For example, a cashmere knit may require more pressure than a smooth merino wool knit. If you are unsure about the suitability of the wool comb for the material, you can try the comb first on the wrong side of the garment.
