Papurino is a design house of three passionate entrepreneurs.
We design interior products from high-quality natural materials in the countryside of Häme in the midst of colorful family life. Together and separately, we ideate, sketch, design, test prototypes, discard non-functional ones - and refine potential ideas into products.
When the finished product is finally in front of us as new and visually fascinating, we can enjoy the feeling of pleasure brought by creation for a while, until new chores call again.

We are pleased to offer Finnish craftsmanship using modern techniques. We are grateful and proud of our roots, and we want to do our part to build the Finnish design tradition, leaving our own personal handprint on it.

Papurino started as a work project of three student friends in 2013. The first products were acoustic works and textiles. In 2016, when the company was left under the control of Anna and Olli Tuomela, the current direction focused on wooden wall works and interior design products began to take shape. The first map work was a wooden world map, which was designed for the Tuomelos' own living room. The online store was opened in 2017, and the collection currently includes map boards of more than 400 cities, as well as a wide selection of other interior and gift products.

Our vision is to decorate homes with talking wooden wall works. We want to offer our customers a pleasant and flexible shopping experience, and we hope to be remembered for our recognizable design language and high quality. We strive for responsibility and transparency in our production, and we only use domestic birch plywood in our work. All our products have been granted a key label.

All three of us are visualists, and we enjoy making things with our hands. Every Papurino product is born out of love for nature, as well as passion for design and handcrafting. We hope that our products are meaningful and bring joy and experiences to the recipient.
